This group is for bringing together home educating families in the North Thompson areas (primarily north from McClure/ Barriere through to Clearwater and Blue River) but others are welcome! If you're in the Kamloops area, please note that you may find the Kamloops groups more helpful for connecting with other home learners.
We are a group that can come together to share ideas or curriculum, and maybe some get togethers, field trips, general support, questions and answers! We are a pretty informal group, and we don't have anyone officially in charge of organizing fieldtrips and get-togethers. We don't have an official membership list, other than this Facebook group. You are all welcome to create events, fieldtrips, get-togethers, park days, anything you'd like. If you have any questions about how to create an event, or what kind of event would interest people, we'd be happy to try and help. Feel free to PM or ask questions on the board.
