What we do with the information we gather
We require this information to keep an updated roster of our current membership, as per the BC Society Act and the BCHEA Constitution and Bylaws. The information we ask for helps us understand your needs better and facilitates the provision of:- Notification of AGMs, Special General Meetings, and pending Special Resolutions
- Email newsletters regarding homeschooling in BC or BCHEA activities
- Collection of general statistics about the BCHEA membership, such as total number of learners currently registered (Section 12) and enrolled (OL or DES), to help the Directors better represent our membership to the BC Government
